Course Description

The 2-day workshops will equip freelancers with the knowledge and skills to handle and maintain the array of equipment used in unscripted TV productions, ensuring its proper functioning and longevity. The workshops will troubleshoot through issues which arise when assembling and handling kit offering tangible solutions for the beneficiaries. Sessions include the importance of choosing the right kit, assembling and disassembling complex equipment & accessories, audio considerations, check-in/out protocols and understanding recording formats and workflows to contextualise the learning. This workshop has been carefully drawn up to cater for production, editorial, technical and craft freelancers, who are involved in preparing kit for filming and maintaining it on location.
