Detailed Description
LIMBLESS STATISTICS is a repository for demographic and clinical quantitative information on ONLY new UK referrals for prosthetics treatment, NOT on the whole UK limbless population. Using Data Tables, this information – on all UK prosthetics service centres – is summarised in Annual Reports covering the period from 1st April to 31st March of the following year.
Purchasing an Annual Report needs to be completed online to make it available for downloading.
Prosthetics Service Centres, a number of Prosthetics Companies, and Information Services Division (ISD) Scotland, who supplied the raw data for LIMBLESS STATISTICS, receive Annual Reports free of charge (new Annual Reports will be emailed to the specific people who the University of Salford works with).
Annual Reports come as a PDF file and contain data that consist of 10 Classifications: 3 Primary Classifications that describe some of a limbless person's fundamental physical characteristics, and 7 Secondary Classifications that describe further physical characteristics and clinical information. Primary Classifications are combined in various configurations as are Secondary Classifications, and all Primary Classification configurations are combined with each Secondary Classification configuration. An example of a full Annual Report – but without any data in its tables – can be purchased free of charge. PURCHASED ANNUAL REPORTS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.
Please Note:
You may purchase only one Annual Report at a time, so please ensure you leave the quantity selection at ‘1’.
Purchased Annual Report files will not be delivered to you but need to be downloaded from the Online Shop. Therefore, as the Online Shop will automatically log you out following a completed purchase, please log back in to your Online Shop Account so you can download the Annual Report file(s).
Only one download is permitted per purchase, and clicking on the ‘Download’ button is classed as using your download. Therefore, if you see the option to ‘Save’, ‘Open’ or ‘Cancel’, please choose ‘Save’ (or otherwise ‘Open’ and then save the document once it is open). If you choose ‘Cancel’ at this stage you will have made use of your one download and hence it WON'T BE DOWNLOADABLE AGAIN WITHOUT ANOTHER PURCHASE.
