Celebrate the world of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships from the 28th to the 30th October 2025 at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Manchester.
Since 1975, the UK Government has fuelled over 14,000 ground breaking Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP), uniting top businesses, researchers, and graduates to drive innovation for a stronger economy, society, and environment.
To mark this significant milestone KTP 2025 Conference: Celebrating 50 years of Innovation and Partnership, co-hosted by our three universities in partnership with Innovate UK, will bring together all parts of the KTP community for a unique series of learning, development and celebration events.
On 28th October 2025, Innovate UK will host the 2025 Knowledge Transfer Partnerships Awards, recognising the people and partnerships behind the UK’s most inspiring and successful KTP projects. Further information about this invitation only event will be provided by Innovate UK.
Our conference programme dovetails with the awards, starting with an evening welcome event on 28th October, and leading into a 2-day conference programme on the 29th and 30th October 2025.
Designed for a high-level of engagement and interaction our programme of keynotes, workshops and seminars has been created around three themes:
1. Knowledge with impact. 2. Driving innovation for the future. 3. The art of successful collaboration.
With an abundance of networking opportunities to enhance your professional networks, and personal well-being sessions to optimise your conference experience and support work-life balance, this conference has been co-created by and for:
