Course Description

The ECG Reporting Workshop is an intensive one day training scheme aimed specifically at Technologists, Radiographers and the Nuclear Medicine Practitioner. Delegates are taught a standardised approach to interpreting every ECG, which doubles as a framework for reporting. The course aims to deliver the core skills necessary to create salient twelve lead ECG reports.

The course consists of an essential Pre-Workshop activity; additional pre-course reading is suggested. It is expected that delegates will read, understand and complete a test at the end of the Pre-Workshop module before attending the CPD event.

The Course is recommended for:

  • Clinical Technologists, Radiographers and Nurses or who require knowledge in ECG interpretation when working in stress procedures in Nuclear Medicine, Computed Tomography or Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • Radiographers with a general interest in learning ECG interpretation

The course consists of informal interactive lectures covering:

  • Rate
  • Rhythm
  • Axis
  • Conduction
  • ST and T morphologies

Post-course an extensive workbook is provided for revision with 100 further full size 12 lead ECGs and tests to hone new skills. This is a single day CPD event with pre-course reading and post-course learning materials.
